At the rally on Monday, September 23, the top 5 nominees for Homecoming queen was announced. One nominee is Rikki Gonzalez ‘20.
Gonzalez is the current 2019-2020 CSF President and was nominated then voted on by the senior class for top 5. Gonzalez says, “it’s such an honor to have been nominated and I’m very happy to be representing CSF.
During the rally, Gonzalez was capturing pictures for yearbook and was shocked to see that she got nominated.
Gonzalez’s escort, Tanner Terrible ‘20, said he was happy seeing “Rikki Gonzalez” on the screen.
Terrible is looking forward to the game this Friday and loves to be able to get closer to the escorts with week as well as be involved in lunch time activities, “I am most excited for the game on Friday, because I just like to dress up nice.”
CSF Adviser, Mrs. Cheatwood was very excited to see Rikki make Top 5, “I love her sense of humor and willingness to sacrifice her own wishes in order to serve others…She’s one of the hardest working presidents we’ve ever had and has been actively engaged in the club for 4 years. She is a conscientious officer and makes sure every task is completed.”
Gonzalez is happy for all nominees and says that she is friends with them and will be excited for whoever gets crowned at the end of the night.
Gonzalez is most looking forward to spending her senior year Homecoming with her friends and dressing up for dress up days. She made strong efforts to stay casual in her campaigning by making shirts for all her friends and also posting herself on social media.
