Solomon Stahl 20′ is one of the main leads in Redwoodś upcoming production of the Wizard Of Oz. Stahl’s character is the tin man.

Stahl likes participating in singing and musicals outside of school. Stahl has been in TCOś production of the Newsies as well. “We are all just a really supportive bunch and we all care about each other,” he says about his fellow friends who are in the musical with him.

“He [the tin man] is kind of soft spoken and gentle…a hopeless romantic,” he talks about how his character reflects him in a normal day to day life and says, “I don’t need to push anything of that on myself.”

Stahl believes it is a bit hard ‘juggling’ school on top of practice for the musical and many other things he as to do, such as having a job on top of that. Being a part of the musical is worth it because of all of the memories and fun times you get out of it. It may be hard at the time but it’s worth it. “You just keep going at it everyday until you fall down or…”

Initially Solomon’s friend dragged him out to audition for one of the school’s musicals [suessical] “I was really unrelient and didn’t want to do it, but it ended up being a rally cool experience.”

Stahl always looks up to past leads in Redwood’s previous musicals as role models. Itś always best to look up to you peers for help as well.

Solomon has come a long way performing and is glad his friend ended up dragging him to auditions. The Wizard Of Oz musical at Redwood will be one for the books.
