Mrs. Vieira says, “Seeing all the themes that the kids had come up with to decorate their trunks with was super cute and they were all very creative.”

The students got to jazz up their cars, seeing all their creativity. It’s clear that Rangers put a lot of effort into their decorations making the event even more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Kaylene Garza ‘25 says, “It was great to see the whole community come together and just become one. It was a great opportunity for people to gain community service hours and for everyone to have fun.”

“There were so many cute ones. There was a car-themed one that was super cute. And then some kids dressed up like Winnie the Pooh and Men in Black. It was like, they were really creative.” Says, Mrs. Vieira.

The positive impact that the event had on the community was truly heart-warming.  It’s nice to see how this event brought people together and provided a fun experience for the families of Rangers.

Alexis Rico ‘25 says, “It was a special moment when Mr. Vieira came with his son and his new baby girl, and I walked around with Ben, holding his hand and checking out all the cars.”

This event created a safe and loving environment. Seeing the kids’ excitement must have been a memorable night. They got to get all dressed up in their Halloween costumes, showing off their swag!

Matthew Bartolo ’24 says, “Me and my best friend, Ken, we used my car and we were a Starbucks trunk, and we just donated some candy!”

“I really liked the soccer girls. They did the Ninja Turtles and the Winnie the Pooh one. Those are really nice.” Says, Garza.

The students using their cars for the trunk or treat event is a good way to contribute to the event and give back to the community. The students’ kindness and teamwork are very motivating towards everyone.

Bartolo says, “I think a lot of people liked it because it’s like a fun community event.”
