As team captain, pressure is going to play a big role. If you know how to deal with adversity, you can either use it to your advantage or disadvantage. Joseph Ross had this to say “as team captain, I feel the pressure but I think it is a good type of pressure because it pushes me to do better and hold myself accountable”.

Joseph Ross ‘23, a player for the Redwood Ranger boys varsity water polo team is an outstanding player on and off the team. He is one of the captains and has led his team to a big win to kick off the school year.

What brings the team together is the team captain and as team captain Joseph had this to say “I think I kinda brought the team together and I’ve been able to help everyone work well together”

David Ross ‘25, is a player for the boy varsity water polo team, he plays with his brother Joseph the team captain and both of them overall are two good assets to the team that have the chemistry to help the team achieve their goals.

David says “ it’s feels pretty good, we have a lot of chemistry, and i enjoy playing alongside him” Ross also says “It good playing on the varsity team obviously, but I would like to play more higher teams and better players” “We lost a lot of good players last year, I think it must be a good rebuild for the season, we have approved our chemistry among all the players which makes our games go smoother”
