Pricila Cenobio ‘23 conducts during a football game

Redwood Band will be performing at the Band Showcase on October 3, 2022 at the Community Stadium, which is located at Golden West High School.

The band has been working hard and Pricila Cenobio ‘23 says “[they have] been preparing for this particular showcase for a few weeks now.” They have been rehearsing after school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Cenobio said that she’s really excited to perform and that she “always look forward to [seeing] the other

shows and programs from other schools in Visalia.”

America Vasquez-Lara ’23 poses for a Gigantea photographer during home football games.

Bands from different schools will also be performing at the showcase.

They have all been putting their effort into this performance so America Vasquez-Lara ‘23 says “[she’s] confident that [their] show will speak for itself.”

Vasquez-Lara says that “since [they] have a competition the same week as the showcase” will help prepare them for the competition as well.

Lastly, Cenobio says “[she] would like to have Redwood students support their band, cheer, and dance teams and come cheer [them] on. [They] want a loud crowd for Redwood!”
