As technology has advanced, more apps and social media get updated. Instagram wasn’t as popular as before and eventually replaced Facebook. Snapchat has added more features that made more people want to have it. Tumblr and Myspace started to slowly fade away as time passed by.
All these apps becoming more advanced has caused more people to start getting newer phones and caused a popularity in different phone brands such as Apple, Samsung and much more.
Technology is a generational thing since phone brands started coming up with more ideas on how to improve phones. Not only do adults like the change, but teenagers and children do as well. Schools and teachers are enforcing the “No cellphones in class” policy and it’s a hard time for many students who are used to always using their phones.
Now children as young as 12-years-old already have up to date cell phones and children as young as 4-years-old use their parent’s phones as a form of entertainment. Now it is unidentified how the next generation will be as well as the many downfalls of phones in this generation that’ll affect the next generation.
Now that Apple released the new iPhone XS and XS Max, more people are going to start buying them which will lead them to pass down their old phones to their children. This will cause a bigger cell phone use for both children along with their parents.
