On May 24, 2019, the live action of Aladdin was released. This was almost 27 years after the original Aladdin was released.

Recently Disney has been recreating many of their original movies, and making them into live actions. So far, they have all been done very well. None of the movies were to disappoint. People have wondered if the movies shoukd be recreated or if they should just leave them as classics.

The live actions for all the remade movies have been done really well. Disney has done a great job in making each movie subtly different, with the same story line. This adds interesting new views to a classic movie. It keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, while still keeping them interested. It can make someone see a classic movie in a whole new perspective.

It was interesting to see a new take on the original Aladdin story. Each role was portrayed well making the movie that much more enjoyable. For example, the genie played by Will Smith did an amazing job. At first Smith almost turned down the roll because the original genie, Robin Williams, made the role so fantastic. However, Smith changed the role to make it different and unique from the original.

When Aladdin first came out back in 1992, people were obsessed. They loved the story line and the plot twists that made it that much better. When it was released that a new live action would be created, there was a huge controversy over it. Many didn’t want there to be a new movie, taking away from the classic movie. According to Rotten Tomatoes the new movie has received 3 out of 5 stars. Proving that the original will always remain the best!
