Leah See, ’24, says, “I am feeling really good about our upcoming scrimmage against Kingsburg. The team has been putting in the hard work at practices, whether they’re at 5 A.M or 6 P.M.

See says, “These past few weeks, practices have been intense with conditioning and possession-based drills to lead up to our scrimmage.”

The girls have also been having morning practices to prepare for this season. See says, “Morning practices not only help us train and get better, but also helps us build character.”

See also says, “Every year the team has different girls who bring different talents to the table, and with this first game it’ll be exciting to see how we all play together.”

Ellie Gilbert, ’24, unfortunately won’t be at the scrimmage due to it being national signing day. She says, “I am excited to hear back from the girls and see how they did.”

She adds, “Since me and the other three out of five captains won’t be there, it’ll be exciting to see how they lead themselves.”

Gilbert feels that her team is well prepared for this scrimmage. She also says, “We definitely aren’t at our highest point right now because we just started, but we’re working hard to get to the point we want to be at.”

Samantha Brammer, ’24, says, “I’m also feeling confident in myself and my team for this upcoming scrimmage.”

Brammer says, “We have been training and conditioning for almost a month now so we can get back into the shape we need to be in for the season.”

Brammer finishes by saying, “I’m most excited for the memories we will make and I’m very excited for this scrimmage.”
