Every year the Redwood Dance Force has team captains. This year’s captains are Bryann Block ‘23, Tegan Horton ‘23, and Madison Andrade ‘23.

The three captains have all trained together for years and are all in their senior year at Redwood. All of them have been on Dance Force since their freshman year.

According to Andrade ‘23, being “a captain is to be there for your team at any given time and be a role model.” As a captain Andrade has to “create a team that all gets along and builds each other up.” Andrade says she is “glad to be a role model for my peers and be there for [the team].”

Bryann Block ‘23 says she hopes “to be a captain that does what’s best for the team and has a connection with the team.”

Block plans on “bringing new choreography and organization to the team.”
