AVID-3 is having its annual food drive. It will run from November 6th to November 16th. Cans should be brought to your first-period class and the winning class will receive a donut party. The food goes to Visalia Rescue Mission. They help provide struggling people and families with food for the holidays.

Mr. Cain the AVID-3 advisor, this food drive is very important to him he says, “There are many members of our Visalia community that are resource poor and could benefit from the goodwill and kind giving from our Redwood Community.”

Mr.Cain also believes that the food drive is a great way for the students of Redwood to make an impactful difference, he says, “We can help be agents of our community and that our actions have the power to help others in their time of need.”
