The Lion King is a classic Disney animated film that tells a tale of the wild life in Africa and how the cycle of life is interpreted from the animals point of view. Just recently, a teaser trailer for the live action remake was revealed on November 22nd. The teaser left the majority of users on social media websites with anticipation and excitement for its release. Disney has made a number of live action movies before, such as, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, Christopher Robin, and many more. The Lion King is going to be slightly different than these previous live action movies because there will be no human actors in the film. The entire movie is a live-action CGI, which is a combination of live action and animation film making. This gives more reason for us to have different and high expectations.
Along with the teaser trailer, the cast list of actors that will be voicing the characters were also a major focus of the public and it lead to more talk about the film. The main characters include Nala, who will be voiced by Beyoncé, Simba by Donald Glover, Mufasa by James Earl Jones, Timon and Pumbaa by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen , Scar by Chiwetel Ejiofor, and the three hyenas by Eric Andre, Keegan-Michael Key, and Florence Kasumba. With a strong cast, the public’s excitement for the film increased. Beyoncé fans, especially, were overjoyed when the cast of the movie was released.
With all the anticipation and eagerness for the release of the film, the public is patiently waiting for the arrival and finish of this movie. If the teaser trailer and cast gained a great amount acknowledgement and praise, it is a given that the the movie itself will be a hit.
