Taylor Swift’s latest album, “Midnight,” was announced August 28th of this year. This announcement has gotten her fans (Swifties, as they’re called) in an excitable mood. Midnight will be released October 21st. Here’s how the Redwood Ranger’s feel about this new album.
Atraya Serrato, ‘23, when asked about her initial feelings, says that, “I was really excited,” mentioning that Swift’s albums “always come back better.” Serrato says that, “she’s a fan” of Taylor Swift. Serrato “can’t wait to listen to Midnight.”
Arlo Olson, ‘23, when asked about the album, says, “I’m happy for the Swifties out there.” He personally “doesn’t listen to much Taylor Swift,” but says he “may give it a listen.” Olson says that he “is more excited for the Swifties than anything.”
Shaylee Wells, ‘25, hadn’t heard of the new album. She says, “I’ll listen to it,” mentioning that, “I listen to Shake It Off.” Wells says that she “will be giving the album a try.”
Redwood Rangers have differing opinions over Taylor Swift’s Midnight, but they are all willing to give the popular artist’s new album a shot.
