Redwood Students share how they show their true colors with their class colors during homecoming week.

Get ready to step into the world of Super Mario Bro for this year’s homecoming dress-up days! The school halls are decked out with Super Mario Bro. inspired decor, and students show off their class colors in style. The class colors are blue for seniors, yellow for juniors, red for sophomores, and green for freshmen.
Fans of the classic video game get to relive the good old days with the classic video game! The rush of nostalgia will flood back memories, and you can even switch up your look to be funny or glamorous.
Isek Nelson, ’24, shares if he went for a glammed-up look for Monday’s dress-up day or went for a much different route of wearing a funny outfit. He says, “I’d probably go for more funny just because Super Mario is kind of silly. It’s not super fancy or requires a lot to wear.”
For many Redwood students, this day is definitely the highlight of the week! It’s amazing to see everyone showing off their class colors and enjoying the fun of dressing up.
Xavier Legaspi, ’27, shares how today is definitely the highlight of the week the Super Mario Bro. theme. He says, “Probably Mondays, dress in a class color because everyone was wearing a different color, and when you were dressing up.”
