As spring break comes to a close, Rangers are returning to Redwood, bringing with them stories of their adventure, family gatherings, and cherished moments spent with loved ones.

From exotic travels to a simple Easter celebration, each student has a unique story about their time away from the books.

During the spring break, some students visited Southern California to tour Queen Mary and explore college campuses.

Lily Iverson,’27, spent her spring break touring college campuses in Southern California. She visited various universities and gained valuable information about their admission process, academic programs, and campus life.

She says, “I went to Southern California with my family and looked at colleges…It was interesting to see the bigger picture of my education and seeing USD, UCSD, UCLA, Pepperdine, and Westmont made it feel significant.”

Logan Escobar, ‘26, also contributes by sharing their spring break experience visiting the Queen Mary.

Escobar says, “I visited the Queen Mary because it’s a special boat in the family because the first of my mom’s line came here on the boat…it’s also where my mom got proposed.”

Spring break was not just a chance to unwind, but also an opportunity to explore different parts of the world and reconnect with those closest to you.

Sienna Luna, ’26, shared her recent experience visiting Mexico with her family. During their stay, they spent most of their time in Jalisco, where they visited family members and went shopping.

She says, “ I went to Jalsico to visit my family that I haven’t seen in a while and went shopping with my family.”

During spring break, students had the chance to celebrate Easter with their loved ones. They engaged in fun Easter activities such as spending quality time with family and friends, participating in Easter egg hunts, and many more exciting activities.

Ciara Hicks, ‘25, recently shared how she spent her Easter with her close friends and family.

Hicks says, “ I spent time with my boyfriend, and we watched Ghostbusters…I also went to Fresno for Easter and hung out with my cousins doing random stuff.”
