This months staff spotlight goes to Mr.Jordan Ray also known as Redwood Highs new band teacher. Mr.Jordan is now a teacher here at Redwood High school.
Q: Describe your experience working with our Redwood students so far?
A; It’s been very good and positive. I think the students work very hard. They have a good attitude. I think transitions are always tough. But i’m really happy with all the work the kids have been putting in. For me the biggest benefit I get is seeing them put a quality product out on the field. Which they are doing that. Very happy with the progress.
Q;What is your goal for our band?
A; To be awesome and amazing all the time.
Q; What made you become a band teacher ?
A;I love this age group of kids.I work well with them. I also like the literary involved in music and the activities involved. It’s a fun age to teach music.
Q;What are you most excited about this year?
A;I really like the vibe of Redwood.It’s the many reasons why I came here. I love the way the students interact with one another, I love the positivity that happens on this campus, and the work ethic. It’s just a nice place to be.
As you can see Mr. Jordan has a lot of love for Redwood High school and for the students. We welcome him with open arms and show him what we are all about. I will have a staff spotlight story up every month. Tune into the next one. Make sure to come back!!!!!
