A student from each dance section in Redwood shares their opinions about the theme of the dance show, which is NFL halftime show. The dance show will take place next year around April.
Bella Tanck ‘23, who is in international and advanced dance, says “Dance show is such a fun way to show what [they] have been working on all year.” The dance show is important to many dancers because they can each show their individual skills.
There are many different outlooks on the theme. Elli Hendrickson ‘23, who is in advanced and international dance, says “[She] thinks it’s really creative and has lots of opportunities for new and fun performances.”
Tegan Horton ‘23 says the dance show means alot to her “especially this year being my last and I’m really excited for everyone to see how hard they worked during the year.” Horton has been dancing for 14 years and is in both dance force and international dance.
“I think it gives the teachers a lot of options to choose from music wise, so I think the audience will see a lot of diversity of that” Horton says.
Brooklyn Collins ‘25, who is in international and advanced dance says, “the dance show is really important to me because I love performing in front of people and I love that feeling that I get while performing”.
Many people, especially NFL fans, will love the dance show because the theme is NFL Halftime. Collins says, “I love the theme of the dance show!”
Matthew Bartolo ‘24, who is in advanced and hip hop, says dance is “just a fun thing to watch and such a creative outlet for many people ”.
Lizzette Ponce ‘26, who is in the introduction to dance class, says “the dance show, means being able to participate and be a part of Redwoods long tradition of great dance shows.”
