This album will consist of 16 songs, including 2 bonus tracks (which will be called “The Albatross” and “The Black Dog”). This album will be the 11th album of Taylor’s career.

This album is said to have a dark and angst mood and is synth-pop (which is more of an electric and futuristic sound).

Taylor’s past album 1989 is also synth-pop, so fans of this album are looking forward to her new work coming out soon since it shares the same genre. 1989 sold over 14 million copies worldwide and some popular songs include “Blank Space” and “Shake it Off”. Her other albums Lover and Midnights, also include a few songs with elements of synth-pop.

Taylor’s fans have wondered if the title of this album is related to her ex-boyfriend of 6 years, Joe Alwyn. But, it is not yet confirmed by her, just speculation.

Her album is said to be released on April 19th of this year.

She’s not the only one who has announced a new album, as Lana Del Rey has also said that she will be releasing a new album called Lasso

While at the Billboard x NMPA Songwriter Awards and Showcase, she announced that her new album would be released sometime in September.

This album is supposed to take a country approach, which is the first Lana has experimented with this type of music style.

This is a big switch from her usual songwriting style which includes Americana and Old Hollywood elements that are seen and heard in her past albums.

Lana Del Rey rose to fame after releasing the debut song “Video Games” in 2011. She then followed up with an album called Born to Die in 2012 which presented these Americana themes. This album’s genre is alternative/indie and pop, which contrasts with the genre of her upcoming album Lasso which is country.

Lana gives a peek into her new album by doing a cover of “Take Me Home, Country Road”, a well-known country song, by John Denver.

Fans are also excited since Lana has been going on tour recently after taking a 3-year break. She will be having more concerts in 2024-2025, so many people are looking forward to her upcoming performances.

All of Taylor’s and Lana’s fans are ecstatic about the release of these two new albums.
