The Spring Musical is fast approaching. The musical cast is currently settling into the LJ Williams Theater.
Mrs. Galvan says “It’s very exciting to see the work the students have done, [in rehearsals] being done on the stage.”
Galvan also adds “The best part is watching the crew and cast working together to create something amazing.”
Emily Sulivan, ‘23, is a Lead Dancer in Bye Bye Birdie and she says “it is super exciting being in the theater.”
Sullivan also enjoys being “able to see the sets [stagecraft] has worked so hard on and it really helps the show come to life.”
Sullivan adds that she is “most looking forward to seeing the show come together with costumes and sets.”
Sullivan says “‘this year the cast has shown extreme persistence.” Sullivan is excited for everyone to see the musical.
Jacob Lucio, ‘24, plays Harvey Johnson and Maude/Bartender in Bye Bye Birdie and he says “it’s so exciting to be in LJ.”
Lucio adds that “it’s a lot of hard work but it’s going to be worth it in the end.”
“It’s going to be a really good show” according to Lucio.
“Bye Bye Birdie” is February 2, 3, 4 at 7:00 pm and February 4 at 2:00 pm in the LJ Williams Theater.
