Due to Covid-19, students from other cultures were driven apart.

Jasmine Luna ‘22 says students should join the MCA club because it’s a very diverse club.

Luna says “It appreciates everyone for who they are with no worries about being judged”.

The MCA club started in 2019 because she realized there was no club allowing anyone without being criticized.

Luna says “Our goal as a club is to expand as big as possible”.

The MCA club is designed to gather students and host events like potlucks, and fundraisers.

The President of the MCA is Joaquin Gonzalez ‘23, and the vice president is Diego Gonzalez ‘23.

Joaquin says students should join MCA because it “accepts different cultures and ethnicities.”

Gonzalez says “Our main goal as a club is to bring togetherness on our campus and community and learn about each other’s backgrounds and traditions”.

MCA is about allowing students to feel welcome. The MCA club brings people together and makes them united as one.

Joaquin says “After school, we participate in fun school events”.

Joaquin says “We have about 20 active members and are growing every meeting”.

The MCA club meets every 2 weeks on Tuesdays in room 70 in the Avid room.

Joaquin says “This club makes me feel right-minded knowing that we are bettering our campus by helping others learn about their peers”.
