The Notebook is based the book, “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks. The Notebook takes place in 1940s in South Carolina, where a mill worker, Noah falls in love with a rich girl, Allie. When the time gets right Noah meets Allie parents for the first time but, her parents do not approve of Noah at all which takes a toll on their relationship. This leads them to breakup and they go their separate ways, Noah goes to serve in World War II and Allie finds another man, who later on she gets engaged to. But after years of no communication Allie finds Noah on the newspaper and she comes to realize her love for him is not over.
The Notebook really is a cheesy romance movie but these actors together in the movie play a very cute and realistic plot between two young people in love with each other. The plot of the movie sets off a true love story during this time period, because during this time period there were some couples whose parents didn’t like too much because the guy wasn’t to their expectations for the parents. Many people believe this movie was not predictable, it was something different for people that they really did enjoy watching.
Many people enjoyed that this movie gave off that ‘old fashion love’ that many people really like watching because it’s believed the old fashioned love was the best therefore, it made it the best timing to be a young adult and fall in love. The movie really gave off that real love sense many teens and young adults like watching in any movie or even TV shows, even with it being a cheesy romance movie it’s one of the most loved one people thoroughly enjoy watching.
The Notebook is definitely a romance movie that many people need to watch if they haven’t, especially for the ones who are really into the cheesy romance movies. This movie has a rating of 7.8/10, it really is a movie that many people enjoy, it’s for sure a movie that deserves to be seen.
