Molly Collins, ’19, was nominated by the class of ’20, and her escort is Tristan Wendall, ’19. Let’s get to know her better.
Q: What are you most excited for during Homecoming week?
A: I think I’m most excited for the “great race” on Thursday, because it’s something I’m going to get to do with lots of friends and from watching it in years past, it seems and looks really fun.
Q: How did you get involved in the club that nominated you?
A: Well, I was nominated by the Junior class, so I guess by being friends with a lot of juniors.
Q: How do you feel to be a part of the top 5 nominees?
I’m still really excited about it!
Q: What are you involved in at Redwood?
A: I do a lot of different things. I am involved with volleyball, orchestra, FBLA, Ultimate Frisbee club, speech, and Link Crew. I think they’re all great girls, and I’m really excited to do some fun stuff with them this week.
Q: What does homecoming mean to you? How important is it to you?
A: Homecoming is really important to me, I’ve always enjoyed since I was a freshman and I’m really enjoying being a part of it.
Q: Why should Redwood students vote for you?
A: Redwood students should vote for me because I love Redwood and I’ve always been involved here at Redwood and I really love it here, and I’d really love to be homecoming queen.
Molly Collins, is very involved with Redwood as a student and has great Redwood spirit that she shows all around. You can vote for her on Friday and make sure to go to the Homecoming Game at 7:30 here in the Mineral King Bowl as our boys face Atascadero. At halftime the 2018 Homecoming Queen will be crowned!
