Our Ranger JV volleyball team won another game against Golden West on October 9. The team came into the game feeling prepared and excited. The team has been working well together, throughout the season. They are always playing to the best of their abilities and leave room for improvement.

The JV volleyball team previously lost to Golden West. However, they did not let a loss bring them down. They came into this week’s game with more strength and energy and won.

Annemarie Lawrence, ‘21, is a setter that always strives to be a better volleyball player. “My coaches push us, and they always want us to do better. They expect greatness from us, and that is a good thing to have,” says Lawrence. Lawrence was confident that they would win this particular game because they were very determined to win.

Kylea Moshier, ‘20, says that the team has been doing great since the season started out. “Every game we’ve been playing has been really close so that’s a really good thing.” She says that she has been improving, but she thinks it’s more of a team effort that has helped her get better.

“We have grown stronger as a team,” says Hailey Ausherman, ‘22; the team will continue to grow, as they become better volleyball players. You can come and support the team on their next game as they work their way to WYL.
