Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, is Harry Styles’ fourth studio album, after not releasing anything after his 3rd album, Harry’s House.
After announcing the album on January 15th, 2026, Journey Vela, ’26, said, “[Dana] wasn’t here at school that day, but I was in class and we would have been in class together, but I like got up and I was on my phone, and texted Dana, like Dana you need to go on Instagram right now,”
Vela said that on Instagram, Harry Styles, have been giving hints about something, like an album, but thought that it couldn’t be real.
“He had been giving like hints before, but we were like, no, like, that can’t be real. And then like the next day he dropped, he released the release date [for the album] and we were like freaking out because it was the day before my birthday that he released it.” Said Vela.
On the night that it was being released, Dana Chavez, ’26, said, “We actually listened to it together, like we were in my car in the Target parking lot, and we had the countdown and we went through like every song. We skipped Aperture because we have already been listening to that, like, literally every single day. But we were like, honestly, I was really surprised.”
Chavez said that she didn’t really know what to expect, “I was kind of nervous for myself because, like, I didn’t know, like, what to expect, but it was, like, everything that I wanted. It was so good. It’s so, like, fun and like funky and upbeat, and it’s like a perfect mix of like happy songs and then, like, not like sad songs, but like in your feels.”
Shortly after Styles’ announced his new album, his “Together, Together” tour was also announced ,with 30 nights being held at Madison Square Garden, in New York City.
“Our moms surprised us after we went to go see Anastasia and we came home and her mom like set up this like big thing in my house because I was staying home alone. And so, um, she was like, yeah, have Journey walking with you. I was like, okay, that’s kind of weird.” Chavez said.
Chavez said that when they walked into the house, that they heard “Welcome To New York” by Taylor Swift, “And then we saw the tickets on like the thing, we were like freaking out and we started crying.”
Vela said that she’s excited for the environment of the concert. She said, “Yeah, I’m just really excited for, like, the environment because, like, it just feels like a big, like, therapy session. Like, everybody’s so nice, and, like, everybody knows the songs that you love, and it’s just really fun to be around that,”
“I’m excited for, like, the vibes, because every time I go to a Harry concert, like, the people, like there are just so, like, it’s so fun to see people who are, like, me and, like, have the same interest as me and, like, just so, like, uplifting and, spreading, like, positivity and stuff like that. And you know, I’m excited to wear sparkly boots.” Said Chavez.
With having 12 tracks on the album, most with upbeat and fun lyrics, it may be hard to choose a favorite.
Chavez said that her favorite songs are, “Either Carla’s Song or Taste Back. They’re, like, the most nostalgic in there, I mean, like, driving on a beach, and it’s just so, like, I don’t know, like, it feels, like, it’s more happy,”
“If I’m really, like, feeling like dancing, I like Dance No More. Um, if I’m really feeling like, like, lovey, I want, I listen to Coming Up Roses, but I also really like Taste Back. I don’t know, I can’t even choose.” Said Vela.
