Hey freaky ghouls and gals! Halloween is coming around the corner and it’s time to revisit the most beloved horror movies. During this month of October, Redwood Rangers recommended some of their favorite Halloween classics.

A Nightmare On Elm Street: Fountain of Blood

A Nightmare on Elm Street is a popular classic Halloween horror movie with the killer Freddy Krueger. For those who have not watched the movie, it highlights a group of teenagers who are being targeted in their dreams.

If Freddy Krueger kills them in their dreams, they die in real life. The reason these specific characters are targeted is because their parents burned Krueger alive since he was a child murderer who had not been put in jail.

Freddy Krueger is an iconic villain because of his appearance and the unique way he slaughters his victims. Being able to harm someone through their dreams is different from your average killer.

A lot of people enjoy this movie because of its suspenseful and thrilling plot. It keeps the audience engaged in the film and keeps them wondering what will happen next.

Jeepers Creepers, yet another classic horror movie, is one for all those suspense and gore lovers. There are three Jeepers Creepers movies along with a reboot.

Jeepers Creepers is a 2001 horror film written and directed by Victor Salva. It stars Gina Philips and Justin Long as Trish and Darry Jenner, two siblings in college who are pursued by a violent truck driver portrayed by Jonathan Breck.

The exact origin of the Creeper is unknown but he is said to be hundreds of years old and has been around since man first walked upright. Maybe before, even.”

Now everybody knows the movie Halloween with the infamous Michael Myers.

Halloween, made in 1978, is an American slasher film directed and scored by John Carpenter. It is known for being one of the greatest horror films of all time.

The story behind Michael Myers is that as a child, Michael was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for the murder of his older sister, Judith Myers.

After 15 years of captivity, Myers broke out of the asylum and started his killing spree, with the intention to murder his remaining family relatives and anyone who would get in his way.

A key feature of this villain is his iconic white mask which creates an eerie and suspenseful feeling. He has a mysterious and emotionless demeanor which keeps the audience on edge.

The character Michael Myers has been a role model for horror movie killers around the world and it has influenced the slasher genre.

The legacy of the Halloween movie still lives on and it has been preserved by many sequels and reboots from the original one in 1978. Michael Myers is a timeless character and has become an iconic symbol in the world of horror and Halloween.

The movie to end this week’s Halloween movie recommendation, the one and only Chucky!

Child’s Play is an American horror comedy media franchise created by Don Mancini.

The films mainly focus on Chucky, a notorious serial killer who frequently escapes death by performing a voodoo ritual to transfer his soul into a “Good Guy” doll. The original film, Child’s Play, was released on November 9, 1988.

That’s all for this week’s classic Halloween movie recommendations, but it’s not over just yet…
