Our Ranger Girls Wrestling Team has put in a lot of effort throughout the season, and won league back to back years. All of their hard work has paid off, and they will soon be competing in area. They also recently hosted their senior night on Wednesday, January 30th. These seniors included Aleeya Trotta, Maria Barillas, Leslie Arellano, Alexandra Ramos, Salma Pedraza, Olivia Rosales, Tianna Hernandez, and Diana Figueroa.
The girls have been consistently practicing, working harder each day, and winning many more of their matches. “Knowing the fact that I get to move on is pretty cool because it shows that my hard work has paid off,” said Leslie Arellano ‘19.
Not only are the girls breaking school records, but they have remained undefeated in League. That is a big deal for the team, and a huge accomplishment for the girls.
“We’ve had a big journey, and it was really tough to get to where we are at.”
-Dianna Figueroa, ’19
If you want to support the team and see them move on, you can see them competing at area this week.
