Our Ranger girls wrestling team began their season with a first place win at their home match. This win boosted the team’s morale and will help the girls be ready for whatever comes their way.
On November 28, they competed at the Coalinga Lady Toad Rotational. “The matches were really good. A lot of the newer girls are continuing to work hard and show up to practice,” says Elizabeth Lopez, ‘19.
Coming into the matches, the team had confidence and was ready to overcome the challenges ahead of them. After experiencing her first match, Litzy Luna, ‘22, said, “I feel better because I know what I did wrong. I am excited.”
The Coalinga matches were a success. The team will gain confidence and fight harder. Support the team in Lemoore at Last Girl Standing on November 30.
