Club Day is coming up and clubs are planning and getting all sorts of things ready for Club Day!

Clubs want to draw students in by adding interests and offering what the clubs do. Club leaders got the chance to discuss how they plan to get students interested in their clubs.

Brooklyn Anderson ‘26 says, “Key Club is really focused on getting the mission out of Key Club and what it is and how we’re trying to serve the student community.”

Anderson talks about what her club achieves and what they do as a club. She says, “We’re a pretty casual club so we’ll probably keep things on the more lowkey side…We also do want to step it up so we can draw more people in.”

“I’m striving for student involvement but also helping them feel wanted and they could be a part of something. It doesn’t matter who they are that they can be a part of the club.” Says Anderson.

Anderson believes that anyone can be a part of Key Club and should join during Club Day. She says, “Stop by Key Club if you wanna feel involved and included,”

TPWK [Treat People With Kindness] leader, Dana Chavez, ‘26 says, “We’re going to have snacks and candy…We’re going to preach about what our club’s about!”

Chavez says, “I strive to get as many people to be a part of my club as possible because I feel like it’s important to spread what my club is teaching.”

For preparations and getting ready for students to come and join, Chavez says, “It’s the perfect mix in between… Were not being super extravagant and having a mariachi band or anything… We are keeping it simple!”

Between keeping preparations more casual than big, she plans to keep it in a perfect mix between the two! Chavez says, “If you are interested, whoever you are, you should totally join TPWK it’s a really fun club!”

If you like drawing, painting or just want a fun place to hang out with friends, consider joining the Art Club!

Midnight Espinosa ‘25 says, “Art Club is about providing a space for students to express themselves through any art forms…bringing in any artists who may be interested in a safe art space!”

As Art Club prepares for Club Day they want to create a safe atmosphere for Club Day and want to draw students in by offering any artists beginning or professional a chance to have a safe place to do art.

Espinosa says, “I’m keeping preparations pretty casual…bringing in a few of my art pieces and candy as well,”

“I strive to bring more students in who want to either start making art or who need a space to show their art… as well as bring a welcoming atmosphere to everyone.” Says Espinosa.

Redwood Rangers are working hard on getting their clubs ready and getting students to sign up for clubs. We hope students find what clubs they’re looking for and have a great time during Club Day!
