This past week, love was in the air. February 10th-14th was Redwood’s famed Love Week, and all the fun filled festivities that took place made it all the more interesting.

During lunch, lunch time activities took place.

ASB member Savannah Travis, ’20, explains, “We do lunch time activities to get student involvement during the day to boost the spirit so we don’t just have dress up days and decorations.”

“We do a bunch of activities during the week to have a lot of fun and make sure our lunches are a little bit brighter!”

The games played were Minute To Win It, Tic-Tac-Toe, and a relay race.

Another ASB member, Camila Garcia, ’21, explained the correlation between the games and Love Week. “You know how we have Homecoming and Cowhide? We have dress up days, and within those dress up days we have lunch time activities. It’s kind of the same thing but no football.”

Garcia sums it up, “So Love Week is just to kind of celebrate the love here on campus and bring everyone together.”

What a love filled week it’s been! Games like this help bring more smiles and giggles, which lead towards happiness, which spreads the love. Keep playin’, keep lovin’!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
