Redwood’s Dance Force team prepared for the Homecoming Rally and has to go through challenges they experience.
The Redwood Dance Force will be performing at the Homecoming Rally with a “closer team chemistry” says Tegan Horton ‘23. They can’t wait to share their performance with the whole school and show Redwood spirit.
Horton has been dancing for 14 years and has been in dance force for 4 years and is a captain of the dance team. Horton adds that this will be her final time performing at the homecoming rally and “[She’s] really excited” to perform.
Clare Vorst ‘26, who is also a member of the dance force says,“I love it! It’s so much fun!” Vorst has been dancing for 12 years and it’s her first year here at Redwood Highschool.
The Dance Force team has been working extra hard to prepare for their performance. Homecoming Week this year is at the beginning of the year unlike the other years before.
Although it’s a struggle to have little time to prepare for the rally, the dance force team has been working hard to push for their best.
When looking at the various challenges to come, Vorst says that some challenges they will have to face are “having to learn all the sidelines” and “to all stay on timing.”
Lastly, Horton says they hope to “bring a lot of energy to get the crowd excited for the game”.
