Redwood’s 4-year Dance Force Seniors wrap up their High School season and take a moment to recap their time with the Redwood Dance Program.
Madison Andrade ‘23 has dominated the stage over her 4-years on Dance Force. She says, “It is definitely bittersweet and it has been a long ride, but it has been a lot of fun getting to make so many new friends.”
One thing that Andrade has enjoyed over her dance tenure is the dance shows. She says, “it is a time where we all bond together and it shows how unified we can be as a team.
“We are all sisters basically and we have to be nice to everyone because at the end of the day, we all have to work together and put everything else behind us.” says Andrade.”
Bryann Block ‘23 is another of the many rock stars on the team. She says, “it has been a good journey and it has definitely given me a lot of responsibility because of all of the things that we have to work towards.”
Block says that the two dance camps that Dance Force has attended have definitely been the most memorable for her.
As for what she hopes to leave behind with her fellow Dance Force members, Block says, “I hope that they make sure that they keep the team progressing and doing better at the future competitions.”
Also triumphant in 4 years on Dance Force is Tegan Horton ’23. She says, “Being a part of this team has presented me with the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful people that I am going to miss next year.”
Horton says that being a member of Dance Force has taught her a variety of skills that she will continue to use after she graduates. “I am so thankful to have been a part of this team,” she says.
These girls have worked hard each year that they have been on Dance Force, and each will continue their journeys as they prepare for life after high school.
