The 5, 4-year, Dance Force members will each perform a self choreographed solo emulating an icon. Rozenthal Ramos, ’24, prepares to perform Frank Ocean’s “Wiseman.”

Ramos says, “I chose Frank Ocean as my icon because I have been a fan of his since I was young and I have always loved his music. He is very emotional and I really feel him.”

“He is very good at storytelling and that is what I want to do with my song because my song is very emotional. It’s probably my last solo of my dance career so I am really taking it in,” says Ramos.

She says, “My choreography process was kind of hard. I got it done pretty quickly but I kept changing things that I didn’t like and I kept adding onto things that I wanted to be really good at.”

Ramos says that her parents have been her greatest inspiration in this final performance. She says, “I am doing this for them. I want it to be good.”
