After a long wait, seniors are finally getting their acceptance letters from the colleges they applied to. This is a really exciting moment for Redwood seniors as their high school careers are beginning to come to an end.

Senior Analiya Calvo (They/Them) plans on transferring to a four-year university after attending College of the Sequoias [COS]. Their top colleges are UC Davis and UCLA, and their plans are to major in chemistry.

Noah Estrada plans on attending COS and transferring to a four-year university as well, wanting to maintain a good life and be stable in the future.

“I see myself majoring in either theater or nursing,” Estrada says. Estrada brings up how he also sees himself helping people get better health in the future while also seeing what he loves to do with pursuing a career in acting.

Charish Smith plans on attending COS and then transferring out. Smith describes College of the Sequoias as a great introduction to helping her figure out her career path and what she really wants to do.
