Adrianne Terry is going to be on the staff for Bye Bye Birdie. Terry has been an inspiration to many of the cast members, including Arredondo.

Arredondo says, “Adrianne Terry was a huge influence at a young age. I am so glad that she is part of the staff for Bye Bye Birdie, she is an amazing person.”

Alyssa Sozinho ’23

Alyssa Sozinho is playing Rose in her last musical at Redwood.

Sozinho says, “Our directors value our time and make us work to be our very best. The expectations are high and the reward is the best feeling.”

Sozinho is very grateful to get the role and describes it as a dream come true.

“It feels like a dream come true. I’ve been looking forward to an opportunity like this my whole life,” she says.

Owen Koford is playing the role Albert and says that it’s his first time performing in a play in a while.

Koford says, “The audition process was really cool! We sang, recited some parts of the script, and at the end, did a dance we just learned. If we were being considered for a top singing role, we would also get callbacks and get to sing again a few days later.”

The Bye Bye Birdie actors have begun their long journey of rehearsals. They will perform at LJ Williams Theater from February 2nd to 4th.
