On Tuesday, March 19th Boys Golf, currently their division, traveled to the Hanford Mini Tournament.

Stats for Hanford match:

  • Tyler deAsis, ’19 : 77
  • Zachary Hidalgo, ’21 : 89
  • Justin Johnson, ’21 : 80
  • Kevin Maclntosh, ’20 : 105
  • Logan Parsley, ’21 : 86
  • Jack Peters, ’21 : 82

For Logan Parsley, ’21, putting was his strength in that particular match. Parsley also stated, “Tyler deAsis, ’19, did the best within the team and practices a lot.” The rest of the players definitely agree that deAsis has played hard for years, and in this certain game Zachary Hidalgo, ’21, says that “Tyler has been carrying us so far with his scores.”

Hidalgo noticed that “The kids I played with started off well and ended up going downhill towards the end. And the strength of mine in that game was keeping my head straight in such a slow round.” He also had lots of fun and that’s all that really matters in the end.

Kevin Maclntosh, ’20, was one of the players that struggled on Tuesday. His iron shots were not up to par in that particular match but he continued to play his best. On the other hand, one of his strengths is putting along with Parsley’s strength in that match. All the boys love the game and all say that they overall are a strong team.

The next match is on March 28th at the Valley Oaks Golf Course. So don’t forget to show your support and cheer them on!
