It’s a new year and that means ASB are looking for some new freshmen advisers. In a couple of weeks freshmen will be campaigning against each other to win a spot in ASB as a president, vice president, and secretary etc.
Naomi Delgado ’22, has decided to run for vice president for asb. As a new student to Redwood High School Delgado wants to be more involved and help out with many school activities. ” I feel like I am a good example for the freshman because I do my work and I can be fun.” Delgado has had past experience with asb when she was in the 5th and 6th grade. She would get involved with helping students and was a great role model for the younger kids. ” The feeling of knowing that you helped with something at school feels great and makes me feel very proud.”
Brianna Thao ’22, would want to run for vice president as well because she wants to get to know more people and make new friends. ” Knowing that I am getting involved with my school feel great” Thao feels she would be a good candidate for vice president because when it comes down to work Thao won’t let anyone down. ” If I work hard for something I would not take advantage of it and do my best everyday.” Thao is apart of cheer leading and hopes to spread sprite all around Redwood.
Michael McLennan ’22, is going to be running for freshman president. ” I really enjoy getting involved in my schools leadership programs to help out with events.” McLennam has had past experience with ASB when he was in middle; he was president for his first year and vice president for the second year. ” I believe I work hard in everything I do and really enjoy doing what I do which I believe really helps.” McLennan believes if he pushes himself to work hard; he will be able to be president.
Good Luck to these candidates because they will be working very hard with making posters to persuade people to vote for them. All of these students are getting involved, want to be help others, and be TRUE Rangers.
