Photography is an artform that has been used to capture meaningful moments that people might not take the time to stop and appreciate. It’s always the little moments that matter in this art form.

Miles Largoza, ‘23 has been interested in photography for several years. He enjoys going out and taking inspiration from nature. He took a photography class at his middle school and says that it inspired his love for photography.

Largoza is a self taught photographer and he uses a combination of his phone as well a Canon EOS 70D camera to capture his pictures.

Largoza says, “I like to photograph nature, like plants and water.” Largoza tends to travel with his family which gives him even more inspiration to take pictures of the beautiful landscapes and nature that he finds there.

He finds inspiration from the nature that he captures in his pictures. He says, “I really like the beauty of oceans and different bodys of water.” He really likes oceans, ponds, and other bodies of water along those lines and finds the beauty in them that others may not see.

His favorite part of photography is the ability to go out a lot of places in person. He says “Everything looks way better in person but photography helps to capture it.”

When asked about what tips he would give to new photographers he says, “Try out new stuff and have fun.”

Largoza says that he is still searching for the perfect photo.
