RHS Music Building’s Electrical Panel Indirectly Struck By Lightning; Panel Now Replaced
Thursday, January 5, 2023, the electrical panel of Redwood High School [RHS]’s music building was indirectly struck by lightning. The panel was replaced the next day.
CODA Honors Orchestra: Hayl-Lee, Jessica, Samuel
Last December, on the 2nd and 3rd in San Diego, nine Redwood students participated in the CODA honors orchestra competition. For Hayl-Lee and Jessica it was their first time in CODA, and Samuel had gotten in before.

CODA Honors Orchestra: Sophia, Rose, Tyler
In the upcoming CODA (California Orchestra Directors Association) concert, high school musicians from all over California who have competed to get a spot will be performing music together. “We’re usually there for one or two days and we rehearse the music we’ve been given and then we have a concert,” says Sophia Caballes, ’26, who plays the cello.
