Freshmen, Class of 2030, talk to us about how they felt on their first day of school. Arawyn Howell, ‘30, said, “It was a lot of fun. I made a lot of new friends, and I’ve been enjoying it. I got good teachers and good classes”
Jennissa Morgan, ‘30, said, “It wasn’t as difficult as I thought. I feel like the school is very welcoming, and it was easy to adapt to it.”
We then asked how they felt adjusting to the new school. Sophia Barajas, ‘30, said, “It was pretty good; I didn’t have any problems with it.” She then added, “From what I expected, it didn’t go differently; I wasn’t as nervous as I thought [I would be].”
We then asked if anything was different for them. Kohl Acevedo, ‘30, said, “ Different because the school is a lot bigger than middle school.”
Acevedo was also asked which classes she was most excited for. She said, “probably Argitect because I found it really interesting, so I wanted to join it.”
“…it went pretty well. I loved all of my classes; it was pretty good for the first day.” Barajas.
We also asked what made them the most nervous. Alexander Godinez, ‘30, said, “Nothing, really. Just going over to the campus and not getting to class on time.”
We then asked them how crossing the bridge was. “Oh, no, I just hated going over to Vista, yeah.” Jayden Ogeda, ‘30
“I only crossed one time and then two times when I have practice, and it was longer than I thought.” Morgan, ‘30
“Shout out Carter,” Goldinez, 30’.
