Redwood’s Choir has an obsession with John Cena and there is a straight-forward reason behind it.

If it was possible, just about everything involving choir would have John Cena in one way or another. The figure always goes with the Ranger Choir.

Redwood’s Choir teacher, Melchor Carillo says, “John Cena first came about in 2016. One of the students bought John Cena and that whole trip, he carried him around with him.“

John Cena also has a tuxedo that he can be seen wearing, and it is a nice addition to the figure since it is in the choir room.

Carillo talks about how a student’s grandmother custom-tailored the tuxedo to fit him.

The figure of John Cena has become a part of the class and goes anywhere with them.

Carillo adds, “Later that year (in 2016), we went on a trip to Hawaii and that was his second trip.” The first trip was to the festival with Ranger Choir.

The John Cena figure goes almost anywhere Ranger Choir goes, and has become their mascot. He has gone to Washington, D.C and Hawaii.

Carillo has the figure in the room with the class and sometimes can be seen standing on the piano or next to the TV above the whiteboard. On rare occasions, he can even be sitting in the same place with the class.

Carillo and Cena is a nice light-hearted thing for choir kids to know and gives them a nice little laugh when the figure is in random places.
