Varsity Volleyball is going against Golden West again, hopeful for a win on Wednesday the 28th at Golden West High School.
All of the girls on volleyball would agree that the chemistry between the team is their key to success.
The majority of the team are juniors, they all share in common that they missed out on their freshman volleyball season, which pulled them back from the sport.
However, all the girls were able to bounce back and start dominating their opponents once again.
Ashlyn Guenter ’24 is a junior ranger volleyball player, she plays as a hitter on the Varsity team.
Guenter states that the last games have gone very well, Guenter says, “To improve I think we should focus more on covering the ball so when we get blocked we can be ready,”
Audrey Hyde ’24 plays as a setter and opposite hitter, she has played volleyball for Redwood two years, which would’ve been three if she had a freshman year.
Hyde says, “One thing we could improve is our intensity, but besides that the team is prepared,”
“For this game we just need to play our best and push ourselves,” Hyde says.
Devyn Castanada ’24 says, “I hope for this game our team just has pride and confidence in the game…”
