The Varsity Boys Water Polo team has had an undefeated performance in their preseason. With an 8 tournament win streak going in, the boys feel confident with this years upcoming West Yosemite League (WYL) tournament.

Michael McLennan ’22

Michael McLennan ’22, says that their preseason, “was a lot of fun [since] learning about team chemistry is what it’s all about.”

With the team chemistry building, there is no doubt that the only issue will be the other team trying to get through them.

Michael also says, “I’m ready for us to dominate like we do every year.”

These Varsity Water Polo boys are no strangers to big tournament, and they believe that they have what it takes to keep their 9 year WYL win streak alive.

Nate Bettencourt ’22

Nate Bettencourt ’22 says, “I’ve seen what my team can do, and I trust in our ability to win games.”

Even though Nate has scored 25 goals on his own during the preseason, he gives his credit to his team because of their performance as a whole.

Each player has an important role during the games.

Jacob Brasil ’22

Jacob Brasil ’22 says, “I feel confident in my team going into WYL after the preseason, hoping to secure a 9 year win streak with them.”

Just like his teammates, Jacob believes in everyone that steps into the water alongside him. This preseason was a reminder to these boys that they are all in this together.

All these boys are ready for the games they will face in WYL. With that being said, time will tell what’s to come in the next week.
