The Tulare County Elections Office recently released information for the General Election in the Fall.
The Visalia Unified School District [VUSD] Board Election candidate list is included.
There are seven Trustee Areas. Constituents residing in each area will elect a representative to the Board.
Incumbent members are as follows:
Area 1: Board Clerk Walta S. Gamoian
Area 2: Board President Juan R. Guerrero
Area 3: Joy M. Naylor
Area 4: Catalina Blair
Area 5: Megan Casebeer Soleno
Area 6: Randy Villegas
Area 7: Jaqueline Gaebe
Residents of Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 will either reelect incumbent members or elect a new representative.
Blair and Villegas were provisionally appointed after John Crabtree [Area 4] and Christopher Pope [Area 6] resigned from the Board.
A special election costs thousands of dollars. VUSD decided to make provisional appointments to avoid the cost.
All incumbent Trustees are running for reelection.
