Get to know the T.P.W.K club and their presidency!

Throughout the years of Redwood, kindness is something that should always be spread around, the Treat People With Kindess (T.P.W.K) club hopes to enhance the amount of kindness shared.

The president, Dana Chavez, ‘26, talks about the process for creating T.P.W.K, and creating a club has its challenges.
Chavez says, “T.P.W.K was a collaborative effort. We really wanted to establish something meaningful on campus.”
Secretary, Brianna Wyman, ‘26, talks about what she hopes to achieve in this club. “I’m hoping to achieve people getting to get their community service hours in and hopefully try stuff that they’ve never done before, and [to] spread kindness,” says Wyman.

Wyman later shares why she wanted to join T.P.W.K. “I just really wanted to spread kindness on campus, really connect the community for everybody, and just spread positivity,” says Wyman.
Kindness advisor, Keira Kirby, ‘26, talks about what really made T.P.W.K interesting to her.
Kirby shares, “What really caught my eye is the message we are telling people, treating people with kindness.”
Chavez says, “I wanted to create a safe space where everyone feels welcome, a fun gathering of individuals who share similar values surrounding kindness and community.”
