Digital Film Club representative, Leyla Lujan, ‘20, was honored to represent her club and Redwood as a Top Five nominee. Her escort was Jacob Rodriguez, ’20.
Outside of school, Leyla says her club has given her photography skills that she finds very beneficial, “In video, we’re taking pictures of every little thing, but it’s kinda crazy how you can get so much out of a picture,” says Leyla.
Leyla says the thing she will miss most about her club is her friends because they made things the most fun.
Jacob said “being Leyla’s escort has been a blast, being a part of this was something new and different and I get to do it with a close friend. Just overall being involved is so much fun and getting to do it with my best friends and just getting to know new people too.”
Over the course of the week, Leyla has been participating in all the dress up days and has just finished making shirts for her team. She is excited to see what else the week has to hold.
