Gigi Muro, ‘29, said that her top 3 apps are Messages to text, Block Blast for when she’s bored, and Spotify to listen to music

Muro says, “If you don’t have social media then you’re kinda getting left out because everyone is on it and you won’t know what trend they’re talking about.”

Muro also says her screen time on Spotify is 5 hours

Avery Handley, ‘27, says she uses messages a lot because she texts her friends and calls her boyfriend.

Handley says, “I don’t think social media apps are essential because I don’t need them, but they are nice to have to keep up with people.”

Blake Owens, ‘29, said his top 3 apps are TikTok for when he’s bored, Spotify to get him through the day, and PowerSchool to check his grades

Owens says his number one app is Spotify because he uses the app the most out of all his apps.

Mrs. Amanda Farris, an English teacher at Redwood, says, “I like apps that are free. I get ideas from my own children or from students. Usually, an app has to help me or make my routine easier.”

Mrs. Farris also said that a time an app helped her through a challenging time was the Find My App, and that her daughter went through the wrong street, and because of that app, she was able to get her daughter home safely.
