The Students Against Trafficking [SAT] officer team prepares for their community service event by reflecting club and community involvement.
On Saturday, November 5th, the Redwood Students Against Trafficking [SAT] club held their “Wash Out” Human Trafficking event.
From 10 A.M. to 7 P.M., students and community members were able to participate. At 10 A.M., a free online safety training was offered. The car wash then took place in the Redwood High School student parking lot from 1:00-4:00 P.M. The final event occurred from 5:00-7:00 P.M. near the LJ Williams Theater; people present could grab food before entering the LJ to view the “It’s happening right here” movie.
Before the event occurred, Nelson, Hailey Rasmussen, ’23 and Karli Rasmussen, ’25 say what they were looking forward to and how the planning process was executed.
