Movie Review by : Brooklyn Fierro
The Jujutsu Kaisen movie has been talked about quite a lot at Redwood high school. Students of Redwood have enjoyed this movie and myself.
One of the people who enjoyed the movie was Dolan Morris ’23 “What made me watch the movie was how I enjoyed reading the manga(Jujutsu Kaisen, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 illustrated and written by Gege Akutami) and I also watched the original series(Jujutsu Kaisen).
Morris also added “Some deaths really surprised me in the movie, they had really interesting downfalls.”
Morris says, “Overall the movie was great I give it a 10/10 the whole plot and story was fantastic.”
As one of the watchers of the movie I really enjoyed the whole movie and I really wanted to watch the show and read the manga. I also wished I watched the show before the movie to get a better understanding of the movie, but overall I really liked it and I would recommend anime watchers to watch the movie.
I really felt attached to the whole story line and the detail in the characters and setting. The movie overall was much better than I expected, the animation was also very good I think MAPPA (animation studio) made a good animation and they were very visible. Even though I didn’t watch the anime, I am now going to watch the series and read the manga to get more of the whole story.
Currently, the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie is only available to view in theaters, but the anime Jujutsu Kaisen is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll and HBO Max, and you can expect the movie to be available soon as well.
