At Redwood High School students share what type of trends are the most popular as of now.
Anabella Angulo, ’29, a student at Redwood High School thinks trends spread faster because of social media, she says, “I Honestly think they do because social media is a very popular thing, and I feel like it gets word around quicker.”
Angulo also mentions that trends can make people express themselves but also in a way they could just be doing popular things in the media to fit in.
Angulo says, “I feel like it can be a little bit of both because if you do trends its cause you actually enjoy it, that’s expressing yourself if you do it because you feel left out and that’s more trying to fit in.”

Espinoza says, “I think the most ongoing brand is Nike I see a lot of people wearing shoes, pants, and sweaters”
Alyssa Mendoza, ’29, says “Tik Tok is a very popular platform people use to spread information like memes, news, and different outfit ideas.”
Mendoza also thinks social media trends can spread positivity to get people to stand out more and feel comfortable in their own style.
Evie Zamarano, ’29, says “Hollister is a very well known clothing brand I like the clothes especially their seasonal collection, I really like how comfortable the clothes are.”
Overall, students at Redwood High School show that trends aren’t just about what’s popular they’re a way for people to express themselves and feel connected.
