Redwood girls swim are the EYL champions they have 11 WYL championships, and in their first year in EYL they won. Three girls talk about their season and what to expect from next season.

Gabriela Mora ‘23 is a senior at Redwood and has done swimming all 4 years. Mora says that her season went really well. We won our 12th league meet in a row, and won our first EYL title¨. Mora says her favorite memory of the season was, ¨the pasta feed they had as a team. We dyed each other’s hair, and got to have one last dinner together¨. Mora says that next year she plans on going to San Jose State and majoring in biomedical engineering¨.

Roamie Gailey ‘24 is a junior at redwood and has swam all 3 years and is looking forward to her senior year. Gailey says ¨her season went well and she pr´d and dropped some good time¨. She says ¨we did well, we won EYL and continued our undefeated streak from EYL to WYL¨. Next year she is looking forward to swimming more and dropping more time and hanging out with friends. Gailey says her favorite memory this year would be ¨the pasta feed before EYL where the girls dyed our hair for league tradition, I also dyed my whole head pink¨.

Ayla Morgan ‘25 is a sophomore at redwood and has swam all 2 years and is looking forward to her upperclassmen years at redwood on the swim team. Morgan says ¨the season went well and we won the league as our first year in EYL¨. Morgan says ¨she is looking forward to the team next year, as the seniors are leaving and it will be a different team and environment¨. Morgan says ¨her favorite memory was winning EYL, and hoping to continue the streak into next year¨.
