The stage, the blinding lights, the audience, the applause, the feeling of a nervous yet thrilled sensation that courses through these talented Redwood students’ bodies when auditioning for Redwood High School’s play, Alice in Wonderland.
With many students who auditioned for the play, Alice in Wonderland, let’s take a sneak peek into what these talented students who auditioned feel.
Abigail Ray, ‘26, who was one of the many people who auditioned says she originally auditioned for the role of Alice but got a call back for several other characters, but she is still excited to see what she can do with those other various roles.
When asked how she felt about the audition she says, “I feel like I did a good job but I feel like other people did a really good job too, honestly there are a lot of good candidates, but it’s kinda just what I can bring to the table and what the director wants from the characters.”
She adds how this is a great experience, and everyone who has the opportunity and time should definitely try it out.
Riley Yagle, ‘24, another person who has auditioned for the play, auditioned for Alice and the white rabbit.
When asked how she felt about how she did at the audition she said, “I’m feeling pretty confident, but still feeling nervous about it.”
